LUCILLE RAVER LOWE JOHNSON, 86

Memorial services were held at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home Saturday, April 25 with cremation graveside services held in the Herman Cemetery for Lucille Raver Lowe Johnson, 86 who died April 22, 1992 in Fremont.

She was born on a farm near Craig, Nebraska on April 13, 1906 to Edward and Nita Gregg Raver. She graduated from Herman High School.

She married Bert Lowe February 26, 1926 and they lived on a farm near Herman. They later owned and operated the drug store in town until they moved to California.

They retired in Mesa, Arizona in 1960. He died in August of 1965.

She married Roy Johnson, a retired farmer from Fremont July 5, 1970. They continued to live in Fremont and Arizona until her death.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for many years in the Baptist Church in Herman. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 261. She was an avid shuffleboard player and won the runner-up place in the Mesa, Arizona Annual Shuffleboard Tournament.

Survivors include her husband, Roy of Fremont; sons and daughters-in-law Virgil and Kay Lowe of Atlanta, Georgia and Forrest and Kay Lowe of Fulton, Texas; daughter, Leah Mae Cameron of Tekamah; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Jan Johnson of Craig and Nile and Linda Johnson of Blair; step-daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jesse Crump of Closter, New Jersey; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nadine Weeks of Spring Valley, California and Edythe Skeoch of Inglewood, California; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Katherine Raver of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Vang and Ruth Raver of Spring Valley, California and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Raver of Omaha.
