MARIAH J. JOHNSON

Funeral services for Mariah J. Johnson, 5, of Hooper, were held Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Tom Shaw officiated. Interment was at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Mariah, along with her family, was killed in an automobile accident on Saturday, Aug. 10, near Purcell, Okla.

Mariah J. Johnson was born Dec. 17, 1996, in Fremont to Rodney and Amy Jo Johnson. She lived in Fremont until moving to Hooper in 2000. She would have entered kindergarten this fall at Hooper Elementary School.

She attended preschool at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper, and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont.

She is survived by her grandparents, Phyllis and Jon Young and Ron and Sharon Mueller, all of Fremont; Evelyn and Patrick Schlueter and Harold and Kathy Cassidy, all of Hooper; great-grandparents, Donna Mueller, Marvin and Mary Loy Gorden, Frank and Deldine Young, and Robert and Virgene Muller, all of Fremont.

Memorials are suggested to the Rod and Amy Jo Johnson Family Memorial.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
