Weta M. Gardner, 71

Services are 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 19, at Arlington Community Church at Arlington for Weta M. Gardner, 71, of Lincoln, who died May 15, 1992, at Homestead Health Care Center at Lincoln. Rev. Lee Milligan will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Weta M. Gardner was born May 20, 1920, at Arlington. She grew up at Arlington and was a 1938 graduate of Arlington High School.

Following high school she lived for a short time in Omaha and Livingston, Montana. After her marriage she lived at Wahoo, Nebraska, until the spring of 1976 when she moved to Lincoln.

She married Charlie Gardner November, 1980, at Arlington. He preceded her in death September 24, 1982.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Emma French Nonnamaker.

She is survived by a son, Chuck Breunig of Hastings, Nebraska; two daughters, Jerel (Mrs. Pat) Geren of Central City, Nebraska, and Jean Fendrick of Norfolk, Nebraska; a sister, Lola (Mrs. Hayward) Johnson of Vista, California; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Honorary pallbearers are Howard Marshall and Allen Tully.

Pallbearers are Matt Breunig, Rube Geren, Patrick Geren, Lauren Spangler, Norman Fendrick and Loran Rogers.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
