HENRY F. IBSEN, 92

Henry F. Ibsen, 92, of Blair, died July 1, 2001, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, July 2 and 3, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Henry Fredrick Ibsen was born July 13, 1908, in Orchard to Otto and Mary (Harvey) Ibsen. The family later moved to Fremont, where Mr. Ibsen graduated from high school.

On Dec. 19, 1929, he married Alvina Cook. The couple adopted three children, Jack, Janet and Sandra. Mrs. Ibsen died in 1963.

On Dec. 15, 1965, he married Anna Dornacker.

Mr. Ibsen farmed in the Fremont and Oakland areas. He was a member of the Oakland School Board and was a sales representative for Fontanelle Hybrids.

In 1978, the couple moved to Blair, where Mr. Ibsen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Anna, three children and their spouses, Jack and Sandra Ibsen of Indianapolis, Ind.; Janet Isbell (?) of Webster, Texas; and Sandra and Tom Mallette of Oakland; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Pete and Mary Lou Ibsen of Tacoma, Wash.; and Albert Ibsen of Omaha; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Charles Dornacker of Kennard, Larry Dornacker of Blair, and Mary and LeRoy Schnoor of Omaha; seven step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
