HAZEL IPSON, 93

Hazel Ipson, 95, formerly of Tekamah, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, in Rogers, Ark., where she has resided since 1995.

Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 28, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Lincoln. Carl Layman and Gus Checketts officiated.

Hazel Ipson was born Oct. 8, 1906, to William and Edith (O’Donnell) Moore in Mondamin, Iowa. Her family moved by covered wagon to Nebraska when she was 3 years old.

On October 8, 1924, she married Earl Ipson, with whom she recently celebrated 66 years of marriage. Her husband owned and operated Ipson Service Station in Tekamah until retirement in 1970.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints. In 1993, she made a trip to the Mormon Temple in Chicago.

She is survived by three sons, Estle ipson, Virgil Ipson and Bernard Ipson, all of Rogers, Arkansas; a niece, Mary Jane Jackson; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and friends.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Hospice, 13th and Walnut, Rogers, Ariz., 72756.

Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
