Winifred “Winnie” Ogle, 77, of Blair died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

Services were Thursday, March 29, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Winnie Truhlsen was born on December 17, 1934, in rural Blair to Elmer and Carrie (Rasmussen) Truhlsen. She attended school at McCarthy and Gardner schools and graduated from Blair High School in 1951.

After graduation she went to work for the Blair Telephone Company and worked there for six years.

She married Dean Ogle and stayed at home until all of her children were in school. She began working for Tyson Elevator and eventually retired from there in 1996. She always looked forward to attending the sports events of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Dean; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Karen and Kent and Beth; six grandchildren, David, Derek, Ashley, Gunnar, Wyatt and Peyton Ogle; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny and Norma Truhlsen, and Lyle and Trudy Truhlsen.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Ogle.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
