Nicholas Gilfred Garner, 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, at the Blair Hospital. Funeral services have been set for 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 3, at the First Baptist Church in Blair.

Gil Garner and his wife Ruth lived at the Rosterman trailer Court in Blair. Mr. Garner has been employed in the Parts Department of the Kelly Ryan Equipment Company for several years. In earlier years, Mr. Garner had been in the freight and trucking business in Blair.

Rev. James Metzgar will officiate at the services with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Garner was born on March 20, 1904, in Blair. He married the former Ruth Cradit who survives him. Other survivors include one son, one daughter, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The daughter is Mrs. Robert (Betty) Wehrli of Blair and Gil G. Garner of Omaha.

Pallbearers will be Robert McMillan, Dan Moore, Ray Rosenbaum, Clyde Sappenfield, Willard Warrick and Robert Wulf.
