Herman A. Gasser Died August 25th

Herman A. Gasser, a long-time resident of the area just west of Kennard, died at his home last Sunday, August 25th. He had been in failing health for a number of months. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Gasser was born at Bennington August 8th, 1898. He had spent his life as a farmer of the Kennard area.

He is survived by a brother and three sisters. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago.

The brother is Reinhardt Gasser, of Tallmadge, Nebraska.

A sister, Anna, now Mrs. Edward Gathje, lives at Wayne, Nebraska. Another sister, Meta, now Mrs. Louis Goreham, lives at Arlington and Miss Tracy Gasser, was at home at Kennard.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bendorf Funeral Home with the Rev. George Pallesen conducting the service. Interment was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased man. They were Harold Gathje, Russell Beckman, Leo Goreham, Leonard Goreham, Sr., Leonard Goreham, Jr., and Wilfred Sheets.
