Carole L. Gaver, 61

Carole L. Gaver, 61, of Norwood, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at her home following a year-long illness.

Carole Lois Gaver was born April 24, 1941, in Pender to Viona and Earl Schlotfeld. She attended Oakland Public Schools, and married Clinton Gaver in Tekamah before moving to Norwood.

She is survived by her husband, Clinton; four sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Tammy Gaver of Mountain Grove, Mo., Tony and Kelly Gaver of Lebanon, Mo., and Earl Gaver and Scott Gaver, both of Norwood; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sonja and Robert Mitchell, and Fawn Metzler, all of Norwood; her mother, Viona Schlotfeld of Blair; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrell and Mary Schlotfeld of Fremont and Layton and Sandy Schlotfeld of Bailey, Colo.; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jerry Surber of Logan, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Schlotfeld.
