GEORGE ISHAM, 84

Services for George Isham of Blair, age 84 who died March 21, 1991 in Omaha after suffering an apparent heart attack, were held Monday, March 25, at the First Lutheran Church with Rev. James McBride officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Omaha.

George isham was born June 27, 1906 at Irvington, Nebraska to Frank and Nellie “Custard” Isham. He attended school in Bennington, Nebraska.

He married Ellen Swanson February 14, 1935 at Irvington, Nebraska. They farmed at Elkhorn, Nebraska until moving to the Blair area in 1959 where they continued farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ellen in 1984; one brother Harvey and two sisters, Frances Isham and Edith Peetz.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Kenneth Kuehl, Omaha and Georgia and Larry Miller, Martinez, California; a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Julie Isham, Blair, and a son, Darrell Isham, Blair. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and by one sister, Delpha (Mrs. James) Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska.

Campbell-Amen Funeral Home was in charge.
