ELLEN MARIE ISHAM
Funeral services for Ellen Marie Isham of Blair will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at First Lutheran Church in Blair.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Omaha Thursday. Mrs. Isham was born October 5, 1912 to Nels and Johanna (Olson) Swanson of Kennard.
She attended Wayne State College and attended and graduated from Dana College in 1967. She taught school in Washington and Douglas Counties for 25 years.
She married George Isham on February 14, 1935 in Kennard. Survivors include her husband George; daughters Mrs. Kenneth (Francis) Kuehl of Omaha, Mrs. Larry (Georgia) Miller of Martinez, California; sons Darrell and Richard Isham of Blair; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brothers Harry and Albert Swanson of Blair, Leonard Swanson of Memphis, Tennessee, Elmer Swanson of Omaha, and sister Mrs. Howard (Alma) Widener of Tekamah.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Pallbearers are Dale and Merle Peetz, Duane, Harold and Howard Swanson, Robert Widener, and alternates Kenneth Widener and Dale Swanson.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.
