I.O. Iverson died at the Blair Hospital at 2:15 Sunday afternoon of old age, being almost 80 years old.

He had been failing all summer but was sick in bed for only two weeks. The funeral will be held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H.C. Larsen, near Orum, at 1 o’clock today and from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 2 o’clock, Rev. M.W. Halverson of Omaha, officiating.

Mr. Iverson was born in Trondhjen, Norway, Dec. 27th, 1827, and was married at Bergen, Norway, June 3rd, 1855. They came to America in 1864 and to this county in 1883. They lived in this city for a time, but for a good many years in a house on the H.C. Larsen place. His wife died there in 1909 and since that time he has lived with Mrs. Larsen most of the time. Three sons live in Lincoln, C.H.; O.W.; and J.L. One son, John, has no permanent residence.
