MRS. IVERSON DIED YESTERDAY

MRS. MARGARET IVERSON DEAD AT 86; FUNERAL RITES ARE PENDING

Bedfast three and a half years, Mrs. Margaret Iverson, 86, died yesterday afternoon at the Will and Pearl Iverson home, 709 N. Walker Ave. She was the widow of Mathias Iverson, who died in 1916.

The body was removed to the Campbell Mortuary. Rites will be held at First Lutheran church, but the time had not been set by noon today.

Mr. and Mrs. Iverson were married at Orum Mar. 12, 1882, and lived at Leigh, until 1898. They then farmed north of Blair many years.

Surviving Mrs. Iverson are four sons, Will and Randall of Blair; Earl of Wilbur, Wash.; and Theodore K. of Herman; and two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Metzler (Clara) of north of Blair and Miss Pearl Iverson, at home.

MRS. MARGARET IVERSON RITES LAST SUNDAY

Margaret Elizabeth Deaver, daughter of the later Wm. and Sarah Deavers, was born Sept. 8, 1860 at Paoli in Orange County, Indiana.

In 1874 her family moved from there and came to Nebraska by covered wagon. They homesteaded 8 miles north of Blair.

She was married to Mathias Iverson march 12, 1882 and to this union seven children were born. They made their home at Leigh, Nebr. for 17 years. At that time they moved to a farm 8 miles north of Blair.

Mr. Iverson passed away June 18, 1916.

In 1928 Mrs. Iverson moved to Blair where she lived with her son, Will, and daughter, Pearl, until the time of her death.

She leaves to mourn her passing four sons, William and Randall of Blair; Earl of Wilbur, Washington; Theodore of Herman; and two daughters, Pearl, who lives at the home, and Mrs. Clyde Metzler, north of Blair; one daughter, Elizabeth, died when a baby; also 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and one brother, Nathan Deaver of Gillette, Wyoming.

Mrs. Iverson had been bedfast for the past three and one half years and was 86 years, 7 months and 36 days at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held at the family home on N. Walker Avenue and in the First Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 4th.

Rev. H. C. Jorgensen conducted the services. Burial in Blair Cemetery.
