SERVICES HELD MON. FOR RETIRED FARMER WM. A. IVERSON

Funeral services for William Andrew Iverson, 81 years of age, who died Wednesday, were held today (Monday) at First Lutheran Church. The Rev. George Palleson officiated with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Survivors include sisters, Pearl and Mrs. Clyde Metzler (Clara), both of Blair; brothers, Ted of Herman and Earl of Wilbur, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Iverson, son of the late (The article had missing words here………………..) ……….. was born at Leigh, Nebr. The family moved to a farm eight miles north of Blair in 1899. In 1903 his father was paralyzed due to a back injury and William assumed the responsibility of operating the farm.

He lived on the same farm until 1928, when he moved to Blair with his mother and sister, Pearl. He remained active in farm work until a few years ago and continued to manage the farm until his death.

Besides his parents, a sister, Elizabeth, and a brother, Randall, preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Allan Iverson, Willard Iverson, George Osmera, George M. Fitch, Harold Sonderup and Raymond Christensen.

The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
