CARL C. JUUL FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD MONDAY

Carl C. Juul,. a resident of Blair for many years, was buried here Monday following his death last Saturday. He had been a resident of the Good Shepherd Home and he died at Memorial Community Hospital.

Mr. Juul was born in Aaberg, Denmark September 19, 1883 and lacked one day of being 88 years old. His wife preceded him in death. He is survived by one son and five daughters.

The son is Harold D. Juul, of Coffeyville, Kansas. The daughters are Mrs. Edna McCambridge, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Donald Van Dyke, Omaha; Mrs. Niels Nielsen, Blair; Mrs. Howard H. Petersen, Arlington; and Mrs. Wm. Hovendick, Herman.

There are three brothers surviving. They are Chris Juul of Omaha; Anton and Holger, both of Omaha. There are 17 grandchildren and __ ? (smudged print there) great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church in Blair, the Rev. Sanford Sorgen conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in _______? (smudged print again) Cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Van Dyke, Robert Van Dyke, Gary Juul, Larry Petersen, Stanley Hovendick and David Hovendick.
