SERVICES FOR MRS. CARL JUUL TUESDAY

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Carl Juul, 83, who died Sunday at the Good Shepherd Home. The Juuls were residents of 730 North 16th Street in Blair.

Ellen Sophia Elizabeth Juul was born December 2, 1884 at Sjalland, Denmark. She came to America many years ago. After her marriage to Carl Juul she devoted her life to being a housewife. The couple engaged in farming until retiring and moving to Blair some time ago.

She is survived by her husband and by five daughters and one son.

The son is Harold Juul, of Omaha. The daughters are: Mrs. Edna McCambridge of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Carla Hovendick of Herman; Mrs. Anna (Howard) Petersen of Arlington; Mrs. Esther (Niels) Nielsen of Blair; and Mrs. Ruth (Donald) Van Dyke of Omaha.

There are 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Tuesday afternoon were held at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. George Pallesen conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Grandsons of the deceased woman were pallbearers. They were David and Stanley Hovendick, Larry Petersen, Robert Van Dyke, Garry and Roger Juul.
