The funeral for Mildred E. Juedes, 82, of Fremont, Nebraska will be 10:30am Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She died Tuesday, July 2, 1996 at her home.

Mildred Scheer was born April 21, 1914 on the family farm near Arlington, Nebraska. She moved with her family into Fremont in 1938. She married Edgar Juedes September 5, 1954 in Fremont. She was employed as a cook at Al’s Café in Fremont for 44 ½ years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid in Fremont.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, and a brother, Ronald Scheer of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

The Revs. Donald Levenhagen, David Loeschen, and Burnell Beyers will officiate Saturday’s service. Visitation is in progress until 9 tonight at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont, and one hour prior to Saturday’s service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

A memorial has been established to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Services were Saturday, July 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mildred E. Juedes, 82 who died at her Fremont home July 2, 1996. Rev. Donald Levenhagen, Rev. David Loeschen and Rev. Burnell Beyers officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Mildred E. Juedes was born April 21, 1914 on the family’s farm near Arlington to William and Dora Hilgenkamp Scheer. She was baptized May 10, 1914 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington and was confirmed there April 1, 1928.

She moved into Fremont with her family in 1938.

She was a cook at Al’s Café for 44 ½ years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

She married Edgar Juedes September 5, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and his wife, Raymond and Irene Scheer; and a niece.

She is survived by her husband, Edgar; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Emilee Scheer of Fremont; nieces and nephews and three aunts.

Memorials are suggested to her church or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
