Mrs. Clara Geesaman passed away on Wednesday, February 8th, at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital, where she had been confined for the past year.

Mrs. Geesaman was born to Mr. and Mrs. George Rohwer Sr., pioneers of Ft. Calhoun, on June 9, 1892. In 1915 she graduated from the University of Nebraska. She was married to Edgar S. B. Geesaman on August 29, 1917. He was a doctor in Ft. Calhoun until his death in July of 1948.

They were the parents of four sons. One died as an infant. Those surviving are: Atty. Edgar Geesaman of Ft. Calhoun, Dr. Richard Geesaman of Boulder, Colorado and Don Geesaman of Livermore, California, a physicist at the University of California.

Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Edwin T. Jipp (Helen) of Blair, and Celia Rohwer, and a brother, George Rohwer, both of Ft. Calhoun; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 9, at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Keith Sackett will officiate. The Sievers Mortuary is in charge and burial will be in the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.
