Funeral services were Monday, November 15, at Campbell Funeral Home for Charles J. Gehrk, 91, who died November 13, 1982, at Crowell Home.

T Rev. Morland Adell conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Charles J. Gehrk was born October 11, 1891, at Kennard, the son of Carl Gehrk. He attended La Crone School at Kennard. He farmed until 1969 when he moved to Blair.

He married Hilda Fischer November 1, 1916. She preceded him in death in March, 1979.

His parents, six brothers and sisters and one grandson also preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son, Henry Gehrk, Kennard; and one daughter, Mrs. Laurets (Hilda) Rasmussen, Blair. Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive him.

Pallbearers were Donald Gehrk, Harvey Gehrk, Henry Gehrk, Mike Hampton, Leonard Niedermeyer and Dennis Schumacher.

Clare Cowing was organist. Home Nielsen provided the vocal music.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
