MRS. HERMAN J. JUNGBLUTH BURIED IN ELK CITY

Mrs. Herman J. Jungbluth passed away at her home in Fremont on January 17th.

Meta Oft was born on November 20, 1888 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Eggert Oft at Bennington. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington. On March 2, 1909 she was united in marriage to Herman Jungbluth of Arlington. They were the parents of three sons and one daughter, and moved to Fremont in 1947.

Her husband and son, Vernon, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Kermit and Bernard, of Omaha; and a daughter, Sylvia, of Fremont. Also five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Ohrt of Omaha, Mrs. Katherine Dornacker of Fremont, Mrs. Nancy Gordon of Bennington; and a brother, Hans Oft, of Ontario, Oregon.

Funeral services were held at the Lattin-Dugan-Chamber Chapel in Fremont on Saturday afternoon, January 20th. The Rev. Robert P. Hansen officiated. Burial was in the Elk City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were George Ramser, Cass McCormick, Calvin Walraven, George W. Kern, Henry Gunderson and Joe Stenglein.
