EINAR KAASTAD, 64, DIED SUDDENLY LATE THURSDAY.

Einar Kaastad, of 1028 Park Street, died late Thursday afternoon following a reported heart attack. The Blair Rescue Squad had answered a call to his home and he had been taken to the Blair Hospital where he failed to respond to treatment.

The deceased, who was an employee of the Nebraska State Game and Fish Department, was 64 years of age, having been born December 13, 1911 at Hanaford, North Dakota.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary and by a son and daughter. A son, Curtis Kaastad resides in Blair and a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Catherine) Grienke, lives in Oscoda, Michigan.

Also surviving are four sisters and a brother. The sisters are Ann Richardson of Minot, North Dakota; Olinne Ronnie, of Holman, Wisconsin; Caroline Edgar of Clackmas, Oregon; and Mrs. Gyrdun Klein of Minneapolis. A brother, Andrew Kaastad, lives at Portland, Oregon.

Funeral services are being held at Trinity Lutheran Church today (Monday, May 31st). The Rev. Charles Nenow is conducting the service and services are under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.
