HANS P. KAER, 78

Funeral services for Hans P. Kaer were held May 26, 1989, at Sievers-Sprick Mortuary.

Rev. Michael Knudson officiated. Interment is at Fairmount Cemetery Mausoleum, Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Kaer died May 23, 1989, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

He was born December 11, 1910 to Anna and Peter Kaer, Florence, Nebraska. He married Helen Arlene Reed June 2, 1940 in Denver.

He worked for Fruehauf Company as branch manager in Denver and later went into his own business, Kaer Trucking & Equipment, selling Peter Built trucks and buying farms. Hans retired in 1974, sold his business and farms; returned to Blair & purchased the farm of Berry Hill to enjoy farming and feeding cattle until his health failed.

Hans was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church of Florence.

He was preceded in death by sister Clara Weeces of Blair. He is survived by his wife, Helen Arlene Kaer; sisters Marie Thomas, Fort Calhoun, Eva Wilson, Blair and Myrtle Patterson, Omaha; brother Olaf Kaer, Ft. Calhoun; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Cancer Fund.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
