ROSE H. KAHLER, 97

Rose H. Kahler, 97, of Elkhorn, died Saturday, July 28, 2001, at Life Care Center of Elkhorn.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 So. 114th St., Omaha, with the Rev. Kip Tyler officiating. Graveside services were Wednesday at Elk City Cemetery.

Rose H. Kahler was born Feb. 19, 1904, in Bennington to Henry and Katherine (Oft) Dornacker.

Mrs. Kahler had worked as a nurses aid at the Douglas County Hospital. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Master.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert and Gail Kahler of Bellevue, daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Ivan Rueschhoff of Omaha, daughter-in-law, Esther DeRosia of Plattsmouth, sisters, Anita Braesch of Blair and Alberta Nichols of Omaha, a brother and sister-in-law Robert H. and Rose Dornacker of Bennington, 12 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and her sons, Orval and Everett.

Memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Church of the Master.

Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Culter Funeral Home in Omaha was in charge of arrangements.
