Services were held Wednesday, September 23 at Luther Memorial Church in Omaha for Nina Marie Johnson, 92, who died September 21, 1992 at Good Shepherd Home in Blair. Rev. Lee Griess officiated. Burial was in the Forrest Lawn Cemetery.

Nina Marie Johnson was born March 2, 1900 in Page County, Iowa to Sven Aaronn and Emma Hendrickson Nelson. After her mother’s death at the age of 38 when she was 15, she raised her four brothers.

She married Clarence E. Johnson in Omaha April 3, 1926. He founded Johnson Sash and Door.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Beverly Johnson of Omaha; one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Paul (Bill) Fleming of Blair; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Roeder Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
