Ora P. Johnson, 95, of Blair died Monday, August 3, 1998, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha at 1 p.m.

Ora P. Miller was born on October 1, 1902, in rural Benedict to John and Bertha (Deremer) Miller. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Benedict.

She attended two years of high school in Benedict and graduated from York High School. She taught school in York County for four years.

On September 9, 1925, she married Harry Amos Johnson. He preceded her in death in November 1969.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Blair, Golden Friends and the Order of Eastern Star, Trinity Chapter in Omaha. She had served as the chapter’s secretary for six years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Blatter of Blair; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Marie Bench of Aurora, Colorado; and several nephews and their spouses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents, a daughter, Janice; a son-in-law, John Blatter; and two brothers, Evan and Roy Miller.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
