DAIMON J. JOHNSTON, 26

Former Fremont resident Daimon J. Johnston, 26, of Arlington, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Interment will be in Fremont’s Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation began Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel, and will also be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Daimon J. Johnston was born Dec. 12, 1987, in Fremont to Ralph D. and Cindy Johnston. He was a 1997 graduate of Fremont High School. He worked as a framer for Gnuse Construction from 1997 to 2004, and was currently employed by TNB Construction in Arlington.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, building homes and being outside. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, riding his bike, and bowling.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cindy Johnston and Kevin Ehlers of Fremont; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Craig Ehlers, Jerad and Angela Blocker, all of Fremont, and Joe and Amber Blocker of North Bend; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deana and William Pond of Midwest City, Okla., Kellie and Ryan Karr and Elisha Ehlers, all of Fremont; grandparents, Kenneth Meyer of Fremont, Carol Lea Anderson of Cedar Bluffs, and John and Dona Ehlers of Fremont; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Vivian and Herman Johnston, Glenda Meyer, and Bobby Dale Drucker.
