Robert Johnson of Kennard Dies in Council Bluffs

Robert Johnson, 50, of Council Bluffs, Iowa died of a heart attack at his home Thursday Many 20, 1976

He is the son of Mrs. Ethel Johnson and the brother of Mrs. Helen Juul, both of Blair.

Also surviving him are his wife, Betty, two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Paula) Birdsley, and Pamela Johnson, a son, Tom, and one grandchild, John Birdsley, and two brothers, Russell of Kansas City, and Glen of Omaha.

Robert Johnson was born Jan. 10, 1926, in Kennard and he lived there until he had graduated from high school. For more than 20 years, he has resided in Council Bluffs. He worked for the Burlington Railroad most of his life.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Meyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs, of which Robert Johnson was a member.

Interment will be in the Kennard Cemetery.
