Services were Friday, January 25 in California for Ruth Croudy Johnson, 84 who died January 21, 1991 in Riverside, California.
Ruth Croudy Johnson was born at Blair August 29, 1906. She was the sixth of a family of eight children born to Jack and Clara Pierce Croudy.
She married Victor Johnson in 1927. He was chief of police in Blair at one time.
She was a country school teacher in Bennington, Nebraska before moving to California in 1946.
She lived in San Bernardino for 28 years. She then moved to Riverside in 1974.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one daughter; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Steele of Fallbrook, California; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren, all residing in California.
