A memorial service will be held Saturday, December (day unreadable), 1980 at 2:00 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Blair for Vernette T. Johnson of Aurora, Colorado. Rev. Kurt Sortland and Dr. C.C. Madsen will conduct the services.

Vernette T. Johnson died November 30 at Seattle, Washington. His parents were William and Emma Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Evalyn; and five daughters, Mrs. Everett (Theresa) Petersen of Marion, Iowa; Mrs. Frank (Christie) Gonzales of Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Bill (Jean Ann) Weaver of Englewood, Colorado; Mrs. Clark (Jeannette) Miller of Florida and Mrs. Dan (Mary) Creagers of Aurora, Colorado. Also surviving are two brothers, Elmer Johnson of Blair and Arthur Johnson of Winter Haven, Florida, and ten grandchildren.
