Victor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Johnson, died of heart trouble at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, to the great sorrow of the family and his many friends. He has had leakage of the heart for a number of years and has had to avoid any heavy exertion either at work or play, but it was hoped that as he grew older he would outgrow it. He has been working in the Farmer’s & Merchant’s bank over at Kennard, in which his father is a heavy stockholder, but has not been able to work for about three weeks. The funeral was held at the family residence on South Street at 1 o’clock today, Rev. A. E. Marsh officiating. Victor was born on the farm five miles southwest of town just 21 years ago March 2nd. His father was in business in Kennard for several years and during that time he was graduated from Kennard High school. When the family moved to this city he took a commercial course up at Dana College to fit him for the bank work he was contemplating. He was a bright, promising young man and his early death is a great blow to the family, with whom their many friends join in heartfelt sympathy.
