Services were Tues., Oct 1, 1996, at John A. Gentleman Westside Chapel in Omaha for S. Kathryn Edson, 76, of Omaha. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

She retired from Creighton University in 1986.

She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Norman Kummetz, Columbus, Neb.; daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and Mark Victorson, Paris, France; Gayle Edson, Denver, Colo. and Kathryn Jean Edson, Basel, Switzerland; sons and daughter-in-law, George Steven Edwon, Beatrice, Neb. and John Stewart and Marilou Edson, Blair; and grandchildren, Emily, Melissa, Andrew, Mark and Alexandra.

Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or the Nebraska Humane Society.
