Graveside services for Benjiman Edson, 82, of Tekamah, who died Sunday, June 16, 1985, in the Tekamah Senior Citizen Home, will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Blair Cemetery. The Rev. Owen Wilmot will officiate.

Edson was born July 30, 1902, in Arrow Rock, Mo., the son of Harvey and Cora Edson. He married Bertha Lyle, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Don and Alpha, both of Blair; a stepson, Leon Dougherty of Mojave, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Alma Miller of St. Joseph, Mo.; one sister, Lena Johnson of Marshall, Mo.; one brother, John of Kansas City, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one daughter, two sisters and five brothers.

Pallbearers will be Elvin Grell, Harold Jensen, Ronnie Jensen, Jeff Jensen, Jamie Edson and Larry D. Jensen.
