Martin F. Gieselmann, 87, of rural Arlington died Thursday, October 29, 1987, at the Skilled Care Center of Memorial Hospital of Dodge County, Fremont.

Born March 7, 1900, he lived all his life on the farm north of Arlington until entering the Skilled Care Center in July, 1987.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church near Arlington.

Survivors include brother Walter Gieselmann of Arlington, sisters Mrs. Elsie Gruenke, Mrs. Nora Franke, Miss Ella Gieselmann and Mrs. Fritz (Edna) Bartling, all of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Anna (Beughold) Gieselmann, brothers William, Ed and Paul Gieselmann and sister Martha Flake.

Services were held Saturday, October 31, 1987, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Pastor Dennis Maaske officiated.

Pallbearers were Maynard Franke, Raymond Greunke, Melvin Gieselmann, Dennis Jahnke, Kenneth Wuebbinhorst and Kenneth Gieselmann.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home of Arlington handled the arrangements.

Martin Frank Gieselmann

Martin Frank Gieselmann, the son of Herman and Anna (Beughold) Gieselmann, was born at Arlington, Nebraska on March 7, 1900. He lived all his life on the farm north of Arlington until entering the Skilled Care Center of Memorial Hospital at Fremont in July of 1987. He was a retired farmer. Martin was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

He passed from this life Thursday, October 29, 1987 at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 22 days, at the Skilled Care Center of Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. He is survived by a brother, Walter Gieselmann of Arlington; 4 sisters, Mrs. Elsie Greunke, Mrs. Nora Franke, Miss Ella Gieselmann and Mrs. Fritz (Edna) Bartling, all of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Ed, and Paul, and a sister, Martha Flake.
