After an illness of about a year, Mrs. Donald Jones passed away last Friday and the funeral service was held at the Methodist church at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon. The large attendance at this service and the wealth of beautiful flowers told something of the friendships and affections she had made during her short life of almost thirty-five years. She attended the Blair schools but before she graduated she entered the employ of Sas Bros. store, where she worked for about two years. On May 29th, 1908, she was united in marriage to Donald Jones and, with the exception of a year spent in Oskaloosa, Ia., they have lived in Blair and vicinity ever since. She was cheerful and hopeful during her illness and was conscious upto almost her last breath, so was able to leave loving messages to her family and friends when she realized the end was near. She was an active member of the Royal Neighbors lodge and the officers of Myrtle Camp conducted their ritual burial service at the conclusion of the other service at the church. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Dorothy, aged 16, and Margaret, aged 13, her father, F.S. Bigelow, her mother, Mrs. Sadie Johnson, and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Wolff and Mrs. Fred Nemetz.
