Agnes M. Petersen, 81, of West Point, formerly of Blair, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

A Mass of Christian Burial was Monday May 7, 2012, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Agnes Marie Uhing was born March 7, 1931, at West Point, to Carl and Catherine Wortman Uhing.

She married Jack H. Petersen and they farmed north of Blair until moving to Blair in 1982.

Mrs. Petersen operated a beauty shop for many years. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls as a hobby.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Connie Petersen of Omaha and Mark and Kay Petersen of Blair; daughter and son-in-law, Jacque and Frank Wilkins of Blair; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Shirley Uhing of Uehling; and sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Merle Barr of Rockport, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in January of 1995; brothers, Eugene, Herbert, Ben, John, Art, and Carl Jr.; and sisters, Mrs. James Hare and Dorothy Von Seggern.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
