Herman Woman's Father Dies In Iowa

A funeral mass was held Monday, January 25, at St. Patrick's Church in Neola, Iowa, for Louis G. Eckrich, Sr., 89, of Neola.

Military rites by the Neola American Legion Post 330 were held graveside. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Mary Lou) Beckman of Herman; and Mrs. E.J. (Jean) Fischer of Neola, Iowa; and one son, Louis G. Eckrich, Jr., of Neola, Iowa. One sister, Helen Flynn, Omaha; one brother, Dr. Jerome Eckrich, Aberdeen, South Dakota; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren also survive him.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's School and Bishop Sheen Foundation.

Hillside Mortuary in Neola, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements for the services.
