Mr. and Mrs. Brewster accompanied Henry Truhlsen who took the body to Iowa early Wednesday morning. Services were held there and interment made at Alta Vesta, Ia.

Relatives from out of town who attended the funeral here were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Webster of Tekamah, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Deets of Blair, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brewster, Chas. Brewster and Fred Brewster, all of Woodbine, Ia, and Roy Dunlap and son, Ellsworth, of Irwin, Ia.

Margaret Dorn was born at New Brunswick, Canada, on March 26, 1835 and died at Herman, Nebraska, on October 23, 1933. Her age was 98 years, 6 months and 28 days.

She was united in marriage to Milo Brewster on March 16, 1853, at Sparlin, Marshall county, Ill. To this union were born eight children. Five of these preceded her in death and three are living. They are Fred Brewster of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Lois Turnstall of Yakoma, Wash., and Mason Brewster of Herman, Neb.

She lived for the greater part of her life in the middle west. For the past fifteen years she made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Emma Baker of Clear Lake, Ia., who was taken in death in the spring of this year. Mrs. Brewster then came to Herman to make her home with her son, Mason Brewster.

Until her very last days she had an unusual vitality of body and mind for a person of her advanced age. She worked with her hands and preferred to wait on herself in moving about. Her mind was exceptionally clear and active.

She was taken ill on Friday a week ago and when she seemed on the way to recovery, suffered a light stroke of paralysis last Saturday.

When a little child she united with the Methodist Episcopal church in New Brunswick, Maine, as a member. Throughout her life she lived a devout and sincere Christian. Her lips often uttered the Lord’s Prayeer. She was a lover of poems and herself possessed a beauty of spirit that won the love of all who knew her. She made her life very useful and lived cheerfully.

She is survived by three of her children, twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Burial was made at Alta Vesta, Ia., by the side of her husband who passed away on April 12, 1912.
