Ken Gilbertson

Kenneth Gilbertson, 76, a native of Blair, died in Yakima, Washington, Tuesday.

He was born in Blair, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gilbertson. The family lived just north of Dana College in the home now occupied by the Michael Jensen family. The Gilbertson farm consisted of all the land which is now Larsen Additions north of College Drive.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Alice; by a son, Col. M. K. Gilbertson; a daughter, Marcia; a brother, Lyle Gilbertson of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Charlotte Wilson of Joliet, Illinois, and Myrtle Kennell, of Lincoln, Nebraska; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Omaha on Wednesday, October 16.

The deceased was employed by Western Electric for 35 years, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
