Services for Harold “Gene” Gilliam, Sr., 71, who died at his home in Omaha January 31, 1995, were Saturday, February 4, at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha. Rev. David Collins officiated. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Harold was born in Blair February 19, 1923.

He married Hazel Knudsen July 18, 1942.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ephram and Sarah; two daughters; three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; two sons, Harold, Jr. and Jeff and a daughter, Karen (Ms. Edward) Lautrup, all of Omaha; two sisters, Kate Mueller and Maxine St. Peter; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Elsie Knudsen of Blair, several nieces and nephews and friends.

Pallbearers were Leonard Weaver, III, Ken Lautrup, Jim Murphy, Ralph Devney, Bob Suitor and Chris Leick.
