Louis Gilliam Died at Hospital Monday, Dec. 23rd

Louis Francis Gilliam, a long-time resident of Blair, died last Monday, December 23, at the Blair Hospital. He was a resident of Parkview Manor on South 16th Street.

Mr. Gilliam was 65 years of age, having been born at Louisville, Nebraska, on February 20, 1909. He had lived in Blair since childhood.

He worked as a laborer at various jobs throughout his life.

He is survived by three children and by three sisters. The sisters are Mrs. Sam (Bid) Moore, Mrs. Maude Moore and Mrs. Dorothy Menking, all of Blair.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Friday forenoon. The Rev. Ray Phelps conducted the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery. Pallbearers were Floyd Marshall, John Gilliam, Clifford Connelly, Robert Berry, Eggert Wulf, and Harry Wiese.
