Albert Gilliland, Jr. Died At Veterans’ Hospital Wednesday

Albert John Gilliland, Jr., former Blair man who has been living in Omaha, died Wednesday at Veterans’ Hospital in Omaha. He was 41 years of age. He was the son of Albert J. Gilliland and Agnes Ackerman, of this city.

He is survived by a daughter, Debra VanderPool of Kennewick, Washington.

Jack, Fred and George Gilliland, all of Blair are brothers of the deceased man. A sister, Marie Mendenhall, of Omaha, also survives.

His father and mother, Mrs. and Mrs. Albert Gilliland are survivors.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair last Friday, April 26th. The Rev. Carl Ramsey conducted the service and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Pat Kelly, Max Larsen, Floyd Vaughn, Allison Millrons, Fred Steffan and Eugene Wilkins.
