DIED: James Cannon, at the St. Joseph’s Hospital, Saturday 27, at 7 o’clock p.m. of brain fever, and was buried at Atkinson, Nebraska on the 29th.

He was taken to the hospital some five weeks ago by his brother Con, for treatment for catarrhal troubles where he lingered until the fever set in. The dispatch concerning his last sickness reached Con Saturday afternoon, and he at once went to the hospital but was too late to see his brother alive. He was well known in Blair, especially among the railroad fraternity. At the time of his death he owned a beautiful farm in the vicinity of Atkinson, near which his father and the family reside. We extend our sympathy and condolence to the berieved family and friends of the deceased.
