Services for Edward J. "Jay" Edens, 69 of Fremont who died March 23, 1995, in Omaha were Monday, March 27 at Brewer-Korisko Chapel in Omaha. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha with graveside military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2704.

Edward J. Edens was born May 4, 1925, to Mr. and Mrs. George Edens at Primrose, Nebraska. His mother's maiden name was Coder.

He was retired from Federal Aviation Administration. He was a member of the Fremont V.F.W. and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene, Fremont; daughters, Julie Leu and Mary Haas, both of Omaha and sons, David, Omaha and Paul of rural Iowa; sisters, Ardeth Schreiner of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and Bethel Dodds of Stromsburg, Nebraska, and nine grandchildren.
