Mrs. W. H. Gilliland died at her home in this city at 3:30, December 24th after an illness of but a week with pneumonia. The funeral was held at the Christian Church at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. L. H. Camp and Rev. W. H. Underwood officiating.

Lenora Adeline Rose was born in this city July 1st, 1879, and was therefore, but 45 years of age. She was married to W. H. Gilliland August 28th, 1903, and two children were born to them, Lillie, aged 20 and Clara, aged 18.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Cora Stowe, of Casper, Wyo.

Mrs. Gilliland’s sister, Mrs. Con Leach, and husband came up from Omaha to attend the funeral service Saturday.

Mrs. Gilliland was a good and faithful wife and mother and death in the prime of life is a sad blow to the family and to her many friends.

Obituary

Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Will Gilliland from the Christian Church. Rev. Underwood officiating.

The deceased was formerly Lena Rose and grew to womanhood in this city.

She had not been ill long and died Dec. 24 leaving, besides her husband, two daughters, Lillie and Edna.

The family resides on Nebraska Street in the old Currie property.
