Mrs. W.T. Cochran, who journeyed to Colorado some time ago, overland, died last week of consumption, and her body, accompanied by the twelve-year-old boy, arrived in Blair Sunday. The funeral will be held today.

# 2 - - published in The Pilot, 10/24/1901 Miss Annie E. Cochran was born in Clay county, Illinois, June 17, 1858, and died Oct. 18, 1901 at Boulder, Colorado. Was married to W.T. Cochran in 1876 and leaves five children, Adelia, Jay, Julius, Rendall and Lucy.

The deceased, accompanied by her children, left Blair last May to seek health in Colorado. Six weeks ago the husband in response to an urgent call joined the family. Mrs. Cochran seeming to improve, he returned to Blair, but she was taken worse soon after and died. She had been an invalid for sixteen years and for twelve months had been confined to her bed.

The remains arrived in this city last Sunday accompanied by her son, Kendall, other members of the family remaining in Boulder. The funeral, by request of her mother, was held last Monday at the residence of Joe L. Dulaney on East State street, Rev. J.S. Stewart and C.E. Tingley officiating. Burial was at Blair Cemetery. A large circle of relatives and friends sympathize with the bereaved family.
