SERVICES HELD FOR ALICE KAHNK ON MONDAY

Services were held Monday, January 23, in Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont for Mrs. Harry (Alice) Kahnk, 74, of rural Cedar Bluffs who died January 20, 1984, in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. The Rev. David Larsen of the Lutheran Church of the Master in Omaha officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

Alice Kahnk was born December 13, 1909, in Kennard, Nebraska. The former Alice French taught in the Washington County rural schools for six years before her marriage to Harry Kahnk on May 20, 1936, in Fremont. She then lived north of Fremont for nine years before moving to Cedar Bluffs.

She was a former member of Sunday School teacher at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

She is survived by her husband, Harry, of Cedar Bluffs; and one son, Harry A. Kahnk, of Elkhorn. A brother, Melvin (Bud) French of Omaha; three sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Edna) Moberg of Craig, Mrs. Lester (Cleo) McCann of Omaha and Mrs. Rudolph (Norma) Juul of Blair; and three grandsons also survive her.

Memorials may be sent to the Cedar Bluffs Rescue Squad.

Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
