LOUIE KAHNK, 86

Services for Louie Kahnk, 86, who died at Crowell Memorial Home August 21, 1991, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 26 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the German Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Louie Henry Kahnk was born July 17, 1905 near Kennard to August and Lena Mathiesen Kahnk. He attended the Peaceful and LeCrone Schools.

He married Grace Suverkrubee March 17, 1936 at Bennington. They farmed south of the Wranch School District their entire married life and received the Pioneer Farm Family award in 1969.

He moved to Crowell Memorial Home in 1988 due to ill health.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Grace; a son and daughter-in-law, Lyle and Rita Kahnk of Omaha, one brother, Harry of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska; two sisters, Marie Taylor of Sacramento, California, and Clair (Mrs. Ralph) Bixby of Fulton, California.
