ALBERT HANSEN DIED AT HOSPITAL LAST THURSDAY

WELL KNOWN FARMER OF SOUTH OF KENNARD BURIED THIS AFTERNOON

Albert Hansen, a well known and long-time farmer of the area south of Kennard, died Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. He was 94 years old.

Mr. Hansen, and his wife, Hulda, who survives him, have resided at Crowell Memorial Home for the past two years.

The deceased was born August 26th, 1875 at Omaha but had lived in this county for more than fifty years. He was a farmer by vocation and he was known for the neat and businesslike farm place which he always kept. He was considered a good neighbor and an asset to his community.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son. The daughters are Mrs. Harry Wrich (Helen) of Blair, and Mrs. E. D. Zeman (Inez) of Lincoln. A son, Lawrence Hansen, farms south of Kennard. There are eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Monday) at the First Lutheran Church in Blair with the Rev. Robert Albers, of the church and the Rev. Guy McClure of Crowell Home conducting the service.

Burial under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, will be made in the Prairie View Cemetery south of Kennard.

94 YEAR OLD COUNTIAN BURIED MONDAY

MR. ALBERT HANSEN

Mr. Albert Hansen, who passed away at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital on Thanksgiving Day was buried in the Prairie View Cemetery south of Kennard on Monday, December 1st.

Pallbearers were five grandsons, Virgil and William Wrich, William and Michael Zeman and Loren Hansen. Also, Jim Lee, husband of one of Mr. Hansen’s granddaughters.

Honorary pallbearers were Lillard Jensen, Elmer Jensen, Paul Jones, John Jensen, Mike Schaefer, A.C. Anderson, Howard Nelson, Bill Nelson, Jim Witte, Ras Rasmussen, Jim Schneider, Herman Kuhr, Edwin Kleider and Pete Olsen.
