HAROLD L. COWING DIED SUNDAY AT VETERANS HOSPITAL

Harold E.(?) Cowing, a resident of the Clifton Hotel for the past several years, died last Sunday, September 12th at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha. He was 62 years of age.

The deceased was born at Boston, Massachusetts August 19, 1914. He was a railroad electrician by trade. Following his retirement he moved to Blair and made his home at the Clifton Hotel.

He is survived by a son, Clark Cowing, of Blair, and by two grandchildren. A brother, Maurice Cowing lives in California and another brother, Bernard, at Providence Town, Massachusetts.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Wednesday morning, September 15th. The Rev. John Petersen conducted the service and burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were All Dunning, Howard Gilbert, Vernon Kubie and Bob Arterburn.
