HARLAN HANSEN DIED AT KEARNEY AUGUST 31st

Funeral Services were held September 4, 1976, for Harlan “Bus” Hansen, a former Herman resident. He died at Kearney, Nebraska on August 31, 1976. The deceased was born at Herman, July 13, 1916 to Hans and (Jo) Sena Hansen, and was 60 years of age at his death. He was a long time employee of Equity Exchange in Bartley.

The survivors include his wife, Athol, and 3 daughters who are Mrs. Jim (Beverly) Foster, of Lexington, Nebr., Mrs. Howard (Linda) Sayers of Cambridge, Nebr., and Mrs. Connie Nelson of Blair, Nebr.

Four sons surviving are Ronney of Bartley, Nebr.; Ivan, who is with the U.S. Navy stationed in Hawaii; Gary of Gordon, Nebraska; and Robert M. of Blair, Nebraska, and 10 grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. (Jo) Sena Hansen of Arapahoe, Nebraska. There are 3 sisters and 4 brothers. They are: a twin sister, Mrs. Harriet Frahm of Dixon, Nebr.; Mrs. Tom (Marie) Foster of Kearney, Nebr.; and Mrs. Edward (Lillian) McKain of Blair. The brothers are Allan of Columbus, Nebr.; Lyle of Bartley, Nebr.; and Wayne of Cambridge, Nebraska. The deceased was preceded in death by his father, I brother, Carroll and 1 sister, Lorie Jean. Funeral services were held at Lochenour Mortuary in Cambridge with Rev. Randy Spillier conducting the services. Military Committal services were conducted at the graveside. Burial was in Bartley, Nebraska Cemetery.

Attending the services from Blair were Mr. and Mrs. Edward McKain, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry McKain, Scott and Krista and Mrs. Harriet Frahm of Dixon, Nebr.
